Halle's New BIG Bed

I have definitely not been keeping up with my blogging lately, so none of this will ever be in order. I have been a little down in the dumps lately, so getting on to blog about all the good things might help a little. We'll See!!!
We had a GREAT Christmas this year. We woke up and let Halle open some of her presents. The biggest thing she wanted this year was a Kitchen and a Camera. She was pretty good this year and ended up getting both. In this picture she is calling Santa to let him know that she wanted a BLUE Camera not a PINK Camera (Like the one she got). Oh well what do you do. She is already planning next years list and the BLUE Camera is on it.
She had lots of fun playing with her kitchen all morning. After that we had lots of people to our house for Christmas breakfast. It was fun to hear what everyone got. Dave, Julie and their family gave Halle a Plato Ice Cream Machine. Could be one of her all time favorite toys, and Matt and I's least favorite toy. No worry guys, on the good days we still LOVE you.:)
Here is where she saw that Santa came. She was so surprised.
Halle has been Potty Trained for almost 5 Months now, so we kind of were a little late in getting her into a big bed. She SHOCKINGLY never climmed out of her crib, so it was easy to sleep her in the crib because I never had to worry about her. I was a little hesitant about moving her to a big bed because she was great sleeper, and I didn't want that to change.

But low and behold...

Halle LOVE'S being in a big bed!!

She used to look so big in her crib, and now she looks so small in her bed.

I have tried turning this picture a hundred different times and It keeps going sideways so if anyone knows how to fix that will you please let me know.
Anyways, here is a picture of Halle's new BIG Girls room.

Part of me is a little sad to see the crib go down. But no worries I got over that really fast. I finally really like Halle's new room, and I never really LOVED her baby room. So to say the least I was ready for the change.

Goodbye BABY room...

BEWARE: There may be multiple miss spelling, grammar problems, and some sentences that just don't make sense. I took a sleeping pill right before I started this, and I am now VERY VERY TIRED. SO GOOD NIGHT!!!

Happy Halloween a Lot Late!!!

Well I am a couple months behind on this post that's for sure. If I'm lucky I just might get Thanksgiving posted before Christmas. Maybe!
So for Halloween this year I tried to be a little more creative with my dinner group so these were some of the things we made.
Scary Little Mouths.
The good old spider cookies.
Some delicious Frankenstein Jello's

A hand in dip.
And we even had mummy hot dogs, and slush with eye balls in it, but apparently I stoped taking pictures.
Halle was the "Cutest" little Flapper ever this year for Halloween. She was loving her pretty little dress just a little bit if you can't tell. She actually caught on to the whole trick-or-treating idea this year and had a ton of fun. But I will say she was the "SLOWEST" trick-or-treater in the whole world. Bless her heart!!!

This is her and her friend Kylie right before the little Halloween neighborhood parade.

Viva La Mexico

OK, Jena and Jana these are for you. Sorry it took me so long to get these posted. My computer has been in the shop for awhile. Then every time I thought about blogging I got a little overwhelmed because I had about two months to catch up on. So maybe you'll see those pictures sometime later and maybe you won't. It will be a surprise (for you and me).

Anyways here are some of the pictures from the trip that you guys (Jeff and Jana) missed out on.

Yes this is really the beach we were on. Not Photo Shopped! Actual turquoise water and white sandy beaches. Amazing!!!
This is a picture looking back at our resort from the water.
We really felt like we had the whole beach/resort to ourselves. It was their slow season and then the whole H1N1 made that place pretty perfect!

Matt and I had decided to get a couples massage, just in case we weren't relaxed enough already. It was outside under this hut right by the side of this beautiful pool. It was absolutely the best massage I think I have ever had. I have been craving a massage ever since. But somehow it's not quite the same in Utah

We went to the Coba Ruins. That was a lot of fun. This place was massive. Luckily we didn't choose to walk from place to place. Instead we had these super awesome bikes to ride. I think Matt's was missing a pedal, so I actually looked like a better bike rider than him for once. :)

The next pictures were taken at Tulum. Another set of ruins we went to see.
These UGLY creatures were walking around everywhere. YUK!
Just a couple of the pictures of the resort.
We spent many nights out on these hammock's relaxing after eating way too much.

The pools there were amazing and once again we had them almost to ourselves most of the time. As you can see in the picture.
People would say anything to get you in their shops to buy their junk.
Nerd One and Nerd Two!
We rented a scooter when we went to Cozumel. Seriously, never laughed so hard in our whole life. We looked so ridiculous and we had so much fun.
That's Cozumel behind Matt in the distance.
Probably one of the greatest trips we have ever had together. We will defiantly be making this a tradition for our family. Can't wait to take Halle there in a couple of years. She would have loved it.
Until next time MEXICO!!!

Massacre Rocks 2009

We just got back from one of my favorite trips in the whole world. A week of skiing, swimming, friends, family and great food. We have been doing this trip for close to twenty years now. Shows you that we don't let traditions die easily. We lucked out again this year with some pretty perfect weather (except for Friday).

Here's Matt and Halle chillin' in the boat.
Halle loved playing in the water this year.
She had tons of friends to play with.
She was pretty good about wearing her life jacket the whole time.
We bring our own dock so that we can leave the boats on the river.
And this is why we love to come here every year. We only saw two other ski boats and four fishing boats the whole time we were there.
I was able to get in a couple good skis.
The Captain of one of the boats.
Everyone had plenty to do on the beach. We had two canoes, a water tramp, lots of tubes, toys, people and food!
Halle still got in some of her naps.
Everyone loved the new tube this year. And once again we all had a great time!!!

Thank You Grandpa and Grandma!!!

My dad and mom just bought Halle a new tube. Spoiled, I think so! So last Saturday they took us up to the lake to take a spin in Halle's new ride. Halle LOVED it!!! Every time my dad would bring her back to the beach she wanted to go again. Again, Again! Thanks for the fun new toy Grandpa. Get ready for some extreme tubing time in the future.

This is Grandpa blowing up the new tube. Matt, Halle and Grace on the back. My mom doing so government work standing to the side. And check out the amazingly clear water by the boat. YUM!!! It's been a really long time since I have been to Pine view. I kind of forgot how clear it was. :)

We invited some friends of ours, so that Halle would have someone to play with. This is James, we call him Halle's twin. They look alike, and they act identical. He is teaching her how to shot a gun, because that's what boys do. You can tell she hasn't had a lot of practice because she is still holding it upside down. Because that's what girls do.

Feeding the ducks!

And this is what we do on a Friday night when we are really board!
Check out that arm. She is going to play in the majors some day. :)
